Kiipula Foundation operates in the fields of education, rehabilitation, well-being services, business events, gardening and accommodation.
Kiipula Foundation supervises Kiipula Vocational College, Rehabilitation Centre, Avire Ltd, Kiipula Company Services, Kiipula Guest House and Kiipula Gardens.
Our company was established in 1945. In the beginining activities were based on rehabilitation of patients recovering from tuberculosis.
History of our education activities dates back to 1890, when the first Finnish-language school for students with special needs was founded in Perttula, Hämeenlinna. At 2009 Perttula Special Education College and Kiipula Vocational College were combined. At 2017 Kiipula wanted to strengthen its’ rehabilitation services and bought Avire Ltd. Avire also works in the field of rehabilitation.
Our mission is to provide all our customers with equal educational opportunities, improved well-being and functional capacity in every day life.
Training and rehabilitation courses are delivered in Kiipula’s main office in Turenki, as well as in other cities all around Finland, eg. Hämeenlinna, Tampere, Lahti, Kouvola, Forssa, Riihimäki, Hyvinkää, Vantaa and Espoo.
Kiipula Gardens and Kiipula Guest House are located in Turenki.
